About Me

Greetings beautiful human!

I’m Kenny, and I’d like to thank you for taking the time to look at my website. The idea to create this site evolved organically over the past 3 years of living my life with the goal of as I had many amazing experiences, discovered tons of life-changing things, and began sharing my journey with friends & family via a regular mass email. As I got feedback from people about the effect my updates had, I knew that I had to find a way to share the wonderful things I’m finding in the world with a wider audience, so here we are!

My Journey:

In December 2012, I was working full-time (and had been for almost a decade), using & selling drugs (and had been for years), eating a terrible diet, spending most of my free time playing video games or watching movies, and dealing with severe depression. I had never put any stock into the ideas around 12.21.2012 & the Mayan calendar, and didn’t even make this connection until much later, but within days of that event I started a relationship with someone who activated me in a big way. She introduced me to GMOs & the importance of eating real foods and the medicinal benefits of cannabis; she also helped me to realize that I was suffering from depression not because there was something wrong with me, but because I was trying to fit myself into a society which had something wrong with it. Over the next year I completely reshaped my entire life, switching to a whole-food plant-based diet, giving up many of my addictions, catching up on many of the major issues in the world, and dedicating myself to making the world a better place.

I spent August through October of 2013 doing research morning to night, running multiple Facebook pages, watching hundreds of documentaries, and generally just being inundated with information about the issues in the world. In November, I went to my first protest, the Million Mask March in Portland, OR. I met some amazing people there, and about a week later ~12 of us got together to begin planning more events in town. As soon as we got together, I told everyone my feeling that protesting was a waste of time; if we’re out holding signs and shouting about things and nobody sees us, nothing was accomplished. If, however, we went out and did something positive while also holding signs & spreading information, even if nobody saw us, we still did something positive. Over the next few months, we put on a series of homeless outreach events, collecting donations of food, clothing, and other necessities, and also giving out literature and having speeches at each event. In February, some friends introduced me to the idea of manifestation, or the Law of Attraction. Since that time I have lived a life of deliberately creating my reality by consciously directing my focus at all times, effecting the world by “being the change I want to see” and taking a solutions-oriented approach to the world and everything happening in it.

Starting in June of 2015, I left my job, left the place I had been renting, gave away most everything I owned, and began living out of my backpack. There were a variety of reasons that played into this, but the most important ones were to stop participating in the work-rent-bills game and to just go with the flow, letting the universe lead me wherever I could do the most good, and trusting that I would always be taken care of. I left Oregon with a plan of “go to the National Rainbow Gathering in South Dakota” and since have cooked for thousands of people, met & become friends with my favorite musicians, undergone huge amounts of healing & growth, built a network that spans the world, found the ways I can most benefit those around me, visited a couple other countries, and had a wonderful time doing it!
